The cottage is based on a structure over 200 years old which was converted 25 years ago. It is situated in the township of Kyles Flodda
to the north-east of Benbecula, near the causeway to North Uist, and is on the shore line opposite the island of Flodda. It is centrally placed in relation to the island chain as the furthest points north and south
are about 40 minutes drive away. Shops and other local amenities are in Balivanich which is about 10 minutes away by car. Though close to the shops, the cottage is in a quiet and peaceful setting.
The cottage is open plan. The kitchen is well appointed with an adjacent dining area. Heating is provided by off peak storage heaters,
with a solid fuel burning stove in the living area for those cooler evenings. There is one double bedroom and another bedroom with two bunk beds. There is a shower room leading off the entrance hall.
A washing machine, tumble drier, freezer and ice machine are tucked away in the brick shed beside the cottage.
This cottage has not been registered with Visitscotland or Visithebrides.
